GALLARATE – Ten days ago he was arrested for resisting, threatening and injuring a public official. The handcuffs were placed in Piazza Garibaldi on the wrists of an 18-year-old bully of Moroccan origin. In front of the judge, with an attitude of defiance, he had made use of the right not to answer and had agreed to a plea deal of one year. Lesson understood? Carabinieri on preventive duty
It happened between via Turati and piazza Libertà. Where the carabinieri of the mobile radio operations unit and the Gallarate station were engaged in an ad hoc service to prevent quarrels and attacks in the centre. Almost as if they were waiting for the 18-year-old who had already made himself known for other excesses immediately after the first arrest. The boy is what might politely be called a troublemaker. Yesterday, certainly drunk, he thought it best, together with other boys, to take it out on a small group of young black men who were peacefully chatting.
