Vittorio Veneto, another pre-ballot twist | Today Treviso | News

VITTORIO VENETO – Luisa Camatta distances himself from his own list. The divorce took place this afternoon and was sanctioned by a vitriolic note from the former mayoral candidate of “Civic Network for Vittorio Veneto”. As Camatta herself explained, the reason for the separation is attributable to the political maneuvers linked to the run-off between Mirella Balliana and Gianluca Posocco, which will be held Sunday 23 and Monday 24 June.

“In the last few days, in the aftermath of the election results, a fundamental basis for me has been missing, which is trust – declares Camatta -. Negotiations were conducted asking for things that I would never have wanted to be asked, and even a small internal group claimed to run the games completely ousting me. Even the last statement released was not ratified by me, nor decided in the plenary assembly. I consider all these actions very serious and I have the absolute majority of the team with me. Therefore I desire distance itself from the entity that should still be defined in the future as the ‘Civic Network for Vittorio Veneto‘”. Camatta is in the first round stopped at 4%but even a small percentage of votes could be decisive for the outcome of the runoff.

“I never thought I would witness such a desolate human spectacle, but I am proud of what I managed to do and proud of the team I had – adds the former candidate -. The absolute majority has remained faithful to the sacred principles of loyalty, democratic dialogue, transparency, and with these people we will continue to plead the causes of our city and plan beautiful things. We are already reorganizing ourselves.”
