On Friday 21 June, Piazza Mandela alle Fornaci comes alive again with an event from the calendar Music Festival 2024: Summer Solstice Festivala concert of popular music with the group “The Daughters in trio” accompanied by Eugenio Corsari. While waiting for the concert to start, from 8pm There will be an aperitif offered free of charge to all participants in the evening.
The initiative iinaugurates the program of summer events of “Socially”the socialization project aimed at senior citizens of the Municipality of Pistoia, aimed at promoting meeting and sharing opportunities for the over 60s, intended to enliven even the most peripheral areas of the city.

After the June initiative, the calendar of events of Summer in Music Of “Socially” will continue Saturday 27 July from 9pm with “Stardust”, cabaret organized by the Zona Teatro Libero Association which will be staged at the Red Cross in Cireglio.
August will be a month full of initiatives: Friday 2 August at 9pmthe Villone Puccini will host “Homage to Giacomo Puccini”, an opera concert organized by the Filarmonica Borgognoni which will perform the most famous arias of the great composer on the occasion of the centenary of his death.
The traditional and unmissable events will follow Cathedral square: Saturday 10 August the annual appointment will be held with the “San Lorenzo and Ferragosto concert”, again curated by the Filarmonica Borgognoni, while Saturday 31 August it will be the turn of “Grand Summer Ball” with entertainment by Angela Band. Both evenings will begin to depart from 9.30pm.
The season will end Saturday 14 September with the theatrical performanceFunny Money” which will take place from 9pm in the Cloister of the Badia di Santa Maria Assunta in Badia a Pacciana.
