The president of the Basilicata Region encourages high school graduates not to abandon their dreams and to become protagonists of the society of the future

On the occasion of the start of the final exams, the president of the Basilicata Region, Vito Bardi, addressed a message of encouragement to the Lucanian students. “Dear girls and boys, you are about to face a challenging test, the first which, traditionally, opens the doors to adult life. State exams mark the end of one cycle and start another,” declared Bardi. In his message, Bardi underlined the importance of the choices that students will have to make after graduation, whether it be continuing their studies or entering the world of work. He recalled how we are experiencing an epochal change, with the rapid development of new technologies and artificial intelligence, which transform professions and human interactions. “No one, now, is able to predict where new technologies, artificial intelligence, will take us and how these will change our lives,” he said. Bardi urged the students not to abandon their projects and to commit themselves to becoming active protagonists of the society of the future. He assured that the Basilicata Region will continue to invest in available resources to offer the best opportunities to young people, so that they can live a full and satisfying life in their land. The message ends with a wish for success to the students: “Good luck to everyone”.
