Inspections in the city continue in Cosenza to take stock of the situation on the reclamation works already started and the interventions to be carried out. This morning the city councilors Daniela Puzzo And Francesco Gigliotti they had the opportunity to take a tour of the hamlet of Donnici and, thanks also to the help of the citizens, to see the most critical situations. «From Contrada Colla, to Calacroce, the road that connects upper and lower Donnici, we verified the critical issues of the road surface in the areas of Lucido, Albo, Fiego, Falco di Fiego, Colli. Immediately afterwards – explain the councilors Puzzo and Gigliotti – we met the manager Raffaele Notte of the maintenance sector to illustrate the state of the places and prepare an ad hoc intervention. Some roads will be bitumen, for others the first patches will be carried out. We are working – the councilors assure – to be able to prepare, together with the Notte manager, a maintenance plan and draw up a timetable of interventions to be carried out as soon as possible. In recent years, the municipal administration has immediately started working on the redevelopment of important degraded areas of the city. And it was Mayor Franz Caruso himself and the manager of the Sector who asked for the support of all the councilors in order to be constantly present in the area and respond to the needs of citizens. The work of recovering green spaces and road safety continues. However, we must also deal with the resources available to the Authority and the complexity of the various critical issues present in some areas of the city. Our presence in the area is constant and we will continue to carry out inspections in the coming days based on reports also received from citizens.”
