Selective wild boar hunting in the Marche: calendar and plans

The Marche regional council has approved the calendar and killing plan for the selection hunt for wild boar.

8,592 in the eight regional ATCs, 353 in wildlife-hunting and agritourism-hunting companies: in the 2024/2025 season the minimum plan for the selection hunting of wild boar in the Marche it therefore reaches 8,945 kills.

The regional council approved it together with calendar related to the species (the general one has already been known for a few weeks): from 15 June to 30 September all sex and age classes can be broken down except, in zones A (sustainable presence) and B (negative interference with anthropic activities, even in the presence of favorable environmental characteristics), females accompanied by young; they will instead need to be given priority (around 60% of the contingent) in the following period, between 2 October (the 1st is Tuesday, the day of hunting silence) and 31 May 2025.
