BUSTO ARSIZIO – After film school and the festival, it also comes the first soundstage of the province of Varese. He opened it in Busto Arsizio Ciro Tomaiuoli, ICMA graduate and currently a teacher of filming techniques at the film academy of Villa Calcaterra. «I make a dream come true» the words of Ciro, that is originally from Vieste but found his America in Bustothanks to the cinema.

The soundstage
The soundstage is an opportunity for photographers, directors and film producers to carry out professional filming and shooting having not only available a space equipped with cutting-edge equipment – including Thor, – but also professional technicians. «Today those who do this job are forced to go to Milan to find a space like this» reveals Ciro Tomaiuoli. «The sound stage is mainly aimed at to product and people photographers, video makers and production houses cinematic, but everyone is welcome. In the future I would like to expand the activity with more innovative proposals.”
The spaces
The soundstage is equipped with a “limbo” of 20 square metersa structure with double wall and unique curve without edges or reference points, ideal for taking photos or filming, configurable with any color or as “green screen” to obtain special effects. For the inauguration an innovative took the stage electronic arm for motion control Thor, supported by a latest generation lighting system. Downstairs there is then one audition space (with hair and makeup area) and equipment rental professional cinematographic institutions – another novelty for the province of Varese – among which one stands out Red Raptor Vista Vision 8Ka highly professional camera for cinema.

«In Italy doing this job is difficult but when there is passion every obstacle is overcome.” That of Ciro Tomaiuoli, 35 years old in a month, is yet another success story of one of the students came to seek glory at the Michelangelo Antonioni Film Institute. Graduated in 2015, he continued to work at the Villa Calcaterra school as teacher of filming techniques and in 2021 he opened his own production company with which he filmed short films already awarded nationally (also at BAFF) and internationally.
