CALTANISSETTA. “Il Confronto” returns on Wednesday 19 June at 9pm, on the occasion of the second round of the administrative elections in Caltanissetta. The initiative has already received great interest in the edition organized for the first round with the 5 contenders for the mayor’s seat; now the Mo.VI proposes the event again which will see the candidates Annalisa Petitto and Walter Tesauro compete in this second appointment.
The journalist Maria Teresa Corso will once again be hosting the debate and will put the following themes at the center of the debate: legality, administrative transparency, waste management, environmental protection, redevelopment of the historic centre, social services, tourism, youth policies, economic development, sport, sustainable mobility and healthcare. There will also be no shortage of strictly political questions, linked to the appointments of the new council, alliances and the composition of the new municipal council.
Viewers at home will be allowed to interact with the broadcast through social comments. “A public service that renews Mo.VI’s commitment to Caltanissetta – declares the President of Mo.VI, Filippo Maritato – aimed at raising the awareness of those entitled to vote on issues that concern the city and the politics of the next years of the future administration , providing a valid comparison tool to develop an informed vote”.
