CISAL, Brindisi: “inappropriate political crisis, commit to employment issues”
“Once we have overcome the G7 parenthesis and the intoxication with glitter and sequins that saw us, for a few days, at the center of the world that matters, unfortunately we quickly return to the precipice of our very small world.
In recent days we have learned from various press outlets the request to cancel the Marchionna council made by the council groups that support the mayor.
This request, although legitimate in certain respects, appears to be inappropriate and incomprehensible for many citizens, workers and their trade union representatives, who in recent months have shouted out loud how important it is to be united as institutions to best address the very serious industrial crisis that grips our province.
Unfortunately, in these hours, the citizenry gets the idea that politics and its followers are only interested in their fate and in reaching positions of power and command, activating the usual theater and waltzing of the seats.
Cisal hopes that the municipal, provincial and regional institutions will immediately focus all their attention on the employment outcomes resulting from the ongoing disputes ENEL, ENI-VERSALIS, LYONDELL BASELL, EUROAPI, BRINDISI MULTISERVIZI, just to name a few, disputes which to date They still don’t have a worthy solution and keep many families worried.”
