Aversa. The 5 Star Movement is deeply concerned about the recent episodes of violence that have hit our territories hard. The tragic loss of the brothers Marco and Claudio Marrandino in Orta di Atella (CE) and the gun explosions in the vicinity of Casal di Principe, San Cipriano d’Aversa and Casapesenna have created a climate of growing insecurity among citizens. Marco Marrandino, a respected figure and former president of the city council, was a busy lawyer, while Claudio was a respected entrepreneur in the construction sector. Their killing represents not only a tragedy for their families, but also an attack on the sense of community and safety of us all.
“We urgently call on the State to be present in the Aversa countryside with concrete and continuous actions to guarantee our safety and protection” the words of the representative of the 5 Star Movement of Aversa Filippo Panza. “It is essential to strengthen security measures and intensify efforts to combat organized crime that threatens our community. The presence of the State must be constant and incisive, not only as a response to recent tragic events, but as a continuous commitment to protect the citizens of the Aversa countryside. We urge the authorities to increase surveillance and strengthen law enforcement, so that every corner of our community can feel safe and protected. We believe that closer coordination between law enforcement and local institutions is necessary to decisively address the challenges related to organized crime.”
In response to these serious events, the 5 Star Movement fully supports the march “We don’t want you!” which will be held on Monday 17 June at 8.00 pm in the municipalities of Casal di Principe, San Cipriano d’Aversa and Casapesenna. Let us unite peacefully to express a strong message of rejection against organized crime and to demand greater safety on our streets. Join us for justice and safety for all!
