Busto Arsizio (Varese) – Two stories of mistreatment in the family in Busto Arsizio, violent husbands arrested. The first intervention, on Saturday evening, was requested by teenage son of the couple: the mother had taken refuge on the balcony to escape her husband’s aggression. The officers arrived immediately and the man appeared hostile and evidently drunk to the police who entered the apartment. the woman terrified and in pain due to the blows received, her husband had also thrown a chair at her, breaking the television. It became clear to the men at the police station that Saturday’s episode was only the latest in a series of physical and psychological mistreatment, fueled by the abuse of alcohol by the man, a 55-year-old Romanian, who in agreement with the prosecutor on duty was arrested and taken to prison.
The second intervention, on Sunday evening, was requested by some neighbors of a couple, worried about the woman’s screams. When the police arrived, the husband, also in this case evidently impaired by alcohol and probably also by drugs, tried to minimize the incident, attributing it to a normal couple’s quarrel. Version contradicted by the conditions of wife, crying and in pain, found on the bed hugging her little daughter. The officers ascertained that the man, in a fit of jealousy, had accused his wife of cheating on him, then dragged her out of her bed by pulling her hair and punched her in the face, so much so as to cause facial trauma and the probable rupture of the nasal septum, all this in the presence of the little girl. Even in this case it emerged that it was not an isolated incident, so the man, a 40-year-old Italian, was arrested and taken to prison.
