The president of FIGC, Gabriele Gravina, announced with satisfaction that the team rosters had been defined by the end of June, thus maintaining the commitment made. During a press conference, Gravina underlined that the Federal Council ratified the registrations for the 2024/2025 championships in record time. The only exception is represented byAnconawho did not appeal and did not obtain the license for the Lega Pro championship.

Gravina expressed great satisfaction for having guaranteed the security of the system, underlining that this will be the first summer without appeals for admission to the championships. He highlighted that, for the first time in the history of Italian football, the championships completed their rosters at the beginning of June, except for the vacancy left by Ancona, which will be filled by June 27, the date of the next Federal Council. The absence of appeals was a source of tranquility and pride for the great effort made.

To complete the only staff vacancy, the Council approved the criteria for the repechage, placing a Second Team from the Serie A championship in first place, with the deadline for submitting applications set for 25 June.

Gravina added that the possible addition of another Second Team would be a source of pride and a sign of quality for the Lega Pro championship, highlighting how, in two years, we would go from one to three Second Teams.
