Trentino healthcare, more quality in services

TRENT. 1,809,970 euros is the additional amount that will be available for the purchase of equipment for the provincial health services company thanks to the update of the agreement with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. This is provided for by a resolution adopted by the provincial council upon proposal of the health councilor Mario Tonina. “These are – this is the comment of councilor Tonina – useful resources to further improve the provision of the Trentino healthcare system, to the benefit of the quality of services”.

The provision concerns the National Plan for Complementary Investments (complementary to the PNRR) which includes an investment called “Health, Environment, Biodiversity and Climate” of which the implementing body is the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

The investment is aimed at the overall strengthening of the structures and services involved in the implementation of policies for the prevention, control and treatment of acute and chronic, communicable and non-communicable diseases related directly or indirectly to environmental and climatic factors.

The National Plan for Complementary Investments is divided into 4 phases, the first concluded in 2023 with the reporting of the 118,786.87 euros received by the Province from the Istituto Superiore di Sanità for the purchase of the equipment identified by the Healthcare Company .

To proceed with the purchase of the additional equipment identified by the health authority, and which the Istituto Superiore di Sanità has already considered appropriate and eligible, it is now necessary to update the agreement signed in 2023, as required by the resolution adopted today.
