It was held on Thursday 13 June at the headquarters of the Professional Association in via Palestro 66 the ordinary assembly of the Order of Engineers of Cremona. The proceedings began with the introduction of the president Adriano Faciocchi who, after greetings to the authorities and to all those present, including my colleague Apulianprovincial commander of the firefighters, illustrated the current situation of the Order, the possible implications of the corporate change of the Professional Association and stimulated the debate with some open topics of national interest.
The CNI president then took the floor Domenico Perrini who illustrated the guidelines
of the CNI in these two years of mandate, focusing, in particular, on qualifying degreeson the proposal of the need to register in the Orders in order to carry out the activity of engineer and on difficulties encountered in the academic world to overcome the current structure of the degree course based on 3+2.
The architect’s presentation then followed Maurizio Bracchi of the ASST of Cremona who illustrated the project of the new city hospital, starting from the reasons that led to the choice to build a new complex, to the formulation of the tender with the identification of the requirements required for the new structure. He then illustrated the five projects participating in the design competition, focusing in particular on that of the winner, the architect Mario Cucinella.
The word then passed to the general director of the ASST of Cremona Ezio Belleri which illustrated i many positive aspects that will be had on the hospital organization in the new structurealso highlighting the current difficulties that staff encounter on a daily basis in managing the current building.
It is historically one of the most exciting moments of the Assembly, the award ceremony for new senators of the Order (50 years after graduating in engineering), with the delivery of medals and the reading of the curricula to those present who recalled their numerous work experiences of the awardees. For the occasion, the presentation of medals to fellow new senators, Piergiorgio Elidoro, Mario Falloni, Mauro Ferrari Ciboldi and Francesco Giroletti was carried out by president Perrini, while the parchment was delivered by the secretary of the Order, Pedroni.
We then moved on to the presentation by the treasurer Alberto Mazziniof the final balance sheet 2023, illustrated to those present, drawing attention to the accounting principles, the delays in the payment of fees by some members and the implications for the current and future budgets. The treasurer also analyzed the various income and expense items that make up the accounting document closed, also for this year, with an administration surplus.
At the end of the discussion the president spoke again, calling the members to vote with
which the accounting document was approved unanimously. This was then followed by the speech of the delegate Inarcassa Bernardo Vanelli which illustrated the main activities of the management of the pension fund and, at the end, it was the turn of the president of the Disciplinary Council to make communications Ambrogio Vailatiwhich illustrated the activities carried out by the Council over the last year.
Once the assembly work was concluded, those present moved to Villa Zaccaria in Bordolano for the now usual convivial.
