TERAMO – The agreement on the Bonolis stadium with the private manager was defined some time ago but remains inexplicably ‘frozen’. This is what Soleia itself reports, through the voice of its administrator Franco Iachini, who returns to keeping the topic hot, this time himself interpreting the uncertainty in which the city’s football club, newly promoted to Serie D, finds itself moving in the impossibility of being able to define, in the registration procedures for the championship, the indication of the main playing facility for the new season.
Iachini’s statements, which confirm the rumors on the now already dated definition of a transaction outside of arbitration, only increase, even among the most confident observers, the surprise at the persistence of an indecisionist attitude of those who lead the city’s administrative machine . Why this stalemate, which makes the eve of a football championship the same as previous years, i.e. full of anxiety and tension? Who knows if the mayor will explain it this time…
“Unfortunately – writes Iachini -, to date they have not yet been formalized by the Municipal Administration, and despite the our diligence to ‘accelerate the final process’ for signing the same, we are forced to still wait helplessly. We remind you that, as reiterated several times, the football club SSD Città di Teramo 1913 to obtain the gaming license at the Bonolis Stadium will have to produce a bank guarantee, for registration at the next one Serie D championship, 2024-25 season, as required by the current agreement. We hope, in everyone’s interest, that training will be achieved quickly and without further delay of the agreements reached for the final and enabling passage in the City Council, no later than July 10th 2024″.
