The La Spezia painters Guido Morelli and Gianluca Motto are among the exhibitors in the visual arts exhibition “Solstizio” which opens on Thursday 20 June 2024 at h. 6.30pm, in the large and bright rooms of Spazio 165 in via Vittorio Emanuele in Camaiore (Lu). On display are around 50 recent works by eight Tuscan and Ligurian artists from different creative paths, in a kaleidoscopic ensemble that offers an interesting overview of today’s figurative painting: in addition to Morelli and Motto, exhibitors include Simone Bortolotti, Annamaria Buonamici, Daniela Caciagli, Riccardo Corti, Beppe Francesconi and Valente Taddei.

Guido Morelli (La Spezia, 1967) represents, in his oils with a material flavour, landscapes that have nothing to do with the contamination of reality: through the study of color and brightness, he tries to capture the deepest essence of nature. Gianluca Motto (La Spezia, 1965) interprets the theme of flight in various facets, on canvases characterized by vibrant chromatic explosions.

The exhibition, organized by the Mercurio Arte Contemporanea gallery of Viareggio in collaboration with the Municipality of Camaiore, is curated by Gianni Costa and remains open until 14 July 2024, every day from 9pm to 11.30pm. Free admission. Infoline: 333 2318925.
