A visit to the post office to experience first-hand the digital soul of a company striving towards modernization

In recent days, a group of people enrolled in the course to enhance digital skills and innovation organized by Cpia (Provincial adult education centre) of Cosenza made an appointment at the headquarters in via dei Giardini, in Paola, in the province of Cosenza. The young interns were welcomed by the director, Francesca Petrungaro, and by the employees, who illustrated to them the wide range of technological services that Poste Italiane makes available to citizens.

The visit, which also involved other workplaces in the area, was useful in conveying to students the innovative opportunities that Poste offers, from the Spid to the applications for smartphones and tablets which, thanks to their multiple functions, have simplified and speeded up access to many operations. «Poste Italiane has once again demonstrated its closeness to people and the territory, welcoming a group of young people and accompanying them, thanks to the skills of the counter operators, on a small journey through information technologies, increasingly necessary to access the various services which we need every day”, comments the manager of the Cosenza branch, Raffaele Mattera.

The educational visit falls within the scope of the activities planned by the Ministry of Education and Merit, financed by Measure 4 of the Pnrr.
