Night-time construction sites start on the A14 motorway, the complete list

Night-time construction work begins on the A14 motorway. These are the stretches of Abruzzo affected:

1) ROSETO TOLLBOX. On the A14, to allow inspection activities of the flyover, from 11pm tomorrow to 5am on Tuesday, the Roseto station will be closed on entry towards Pescara. Alternatively, we recommend using the Pineto station.

2) ORTONA-VAL DI SANGRO. To allow testing activities as part of the maintenance works on the “Saraceno” viaduct, on the two nights of Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th June, from 10pm to 5am, the stretch between Ortona and Val di Sangro will be closed in both directions (Bari and Pescara/Bologna). As a result, Lanciano station will be completely closed, both on entry and exit. Alternatively, the following routes are recommended:
– Towards Bari: mandatory exit at Ortona station, continue on the SS16 Adriatica towards Foggia and return to the A14 at Val di Sangro station.
– Towards Pescara/Bologna: mandatory exit at Val di Sangro station, continue on the SS16 Adriatica towards Pescara and return to the A14 at Ortona station.

3) CITTA SANT’ANGELO TOLLOUT. To allow inspection activities of the flyover, from 11pm on Tuesday to 5am on Wednesday, the Pescara nord-Città Sant’Angelo station will be closed when entering Bari. Alternatively, it is recommended to use the Pescara Ovest-Chieti station.

4) PINETO TOLLBOX. To allow paving works, the Pineto station will be closed according to the following schedule:
– From 10pm on Wednesday to 6am on Thursday, incoming in both directions (Pescara/Bari and Ancona/Bologna). Alternatively, we recommend using the following stations:
– Towards Pescara/Bari: Pescara north-Città Sant’Angelo.
– Towards Ancona/Bologna: Roseto degli Abruzzi.
– From 10pm on Friday to 6am on Saturday, the Pineto toll booth will be closed when entering Ancona. Alternatively, we recommend using the Roseto degli Abruzzi station.

5) ORTONA TOLLBOX. To allow inspection activities of the flyover, from 11pm on Friday to 5am on Saturday, the Ortona station will be closed on entry towards Pescara/Bologna. Alternatively, we recommend using the Pescara south station.

6) A14-A25 JOINT. Finally, the A25/A14 Bologna-Taranto junction will be closed to traffic for works from 11pm on Tuesday to 5am on Wednesday for those coming from Rome.
