The gradual rise of an anticyclonic promontory of African origin over the Mediterranean basin will bring substantially sunny conditions to Piedmont for today’s afternoon and the next few days; a significant increase in temperatures is therefore expected and only local instability phenomena in the afternoon mostly limited to the Alpine areas until tomorrow“: these are the forecast regional, as reported in the bulletin of Harp Piedmont. “From Wednesday afternoon, the approach of a low pressure area centered on the Iberian peninsula may bring more humid southern flows which, associated with infiltrations of cooler air at high altitude, will lead to an increase in clouds and showers and local thunderstorms in the Alpine area, more widespread the following day“.

According to the regional Arpa weather forecast, in Piedmont Tomorrow Partly cloudy skies are expected with clouds in the Alpine foothills in the early morning. Cumulus clouds forming close to the mountains during the hottest hours of the day. Rainfall weak and isolated afternoon showers close to the Alpine mountains. Thermal zero further rising up to 4200-4300 m. Temperatures increasing. Winds weak or locally moderate southwestern over the Alps, strengthening in the evening; weak elsewhere, from the south-east on the Apennines and predominantly eastern on the plain areas.
