Sassari, work almost completed: the Chighizzu gallery reopens

The reopening of the Chighizzu gallery.

This morning at 8:30 the program of inspections on the main Anas construction sites in Sardinia has officially begun, with particular attention to the construction site of the Chighizzu tunnel located along state road 131. The inspection was chaired by the engineer Salvatore Campioneresponsible for the Sassari Network Management Area, who welcomed the regional councilor for Public Works, Antonio Piunear the via Budapest roundabout junction.

The construction site of Chighizzu gallery, opened about a year and a half ago, today saw the presence of numerous technicians and managers from Anas, as well as members of the technical structure of the regional department. The main objective of the inspection was to evaluate the progress of the works in view of the planned reopening, set for the last Saturday of June.

This intervention is fundamental considering the strategic importance of state road 131, especially in view of the summer exodus which traditionally begins around July 28, as indicated by Anas. The timely reopening of Chighizzu gallery not only will it improve traffic in the area, but it will also help ensure the safety and efficiency of vehicular flow during the summer period.
