Tomorrow at Aperidee Deschema, fresh with a new single. We compare heterogeneous testimonies with them about making and listening to it today
SIENA. Making or listening to music in Siena, between Crystal and Demons. To paraphrase Deschema’s most recent song and its best-known one, are these two extremes in which the local music sector oscillates? The question will animate Aperidee, the series of pre-dinner meetings created by Confesercenti who Tomorrow from 7pm will stop at the Centotre Art pizza bar in Siena (Colonna San Marco). “MUSIC AND WHO GOES AROUND – Spaces, musicians and audiences in Siena” is the theme proposed for the bar conversation, and among the expected testimonies is precisely that of Deschemathe Sienese band third in Sanremo Giovani in 2018 with Cristallo, and on air from 7 June with the new single Demoni.
With them there will be the Councilor for Youth Policies of the Municipality of Siena Michela Papi, Valeria Mazzola (musician and teacher at Rockfactory), the deejay Daniel Van Der Fionda and Vittoria Burchetti, author of a column on emerging bands for the university radio Uradio and, soon, of a degree thesis on the subject. As usual, the experience bearers will be able to alternate public considerations. The event has free entry and is accompanied by food & drink proposals prepared for the occasion by Centotre, one of the places where live music is still performed in Siena and which will propose the performance on the evening of June 18th, after the Aperidee of the acoustic duo B.twice.
