PORDENONE Blues & CO. Festival 2024: headliners are Rival Sons, Alice Cooper and Placebo

It is one of the most anticipated events of summer 2024 with great international music, which for the 33rd consecutive year presents a refined line up: the PORDENONE BLUES & CO. FESTIVAL returns to play loudly under the Pordenone sky from Monday 8 July to Wednesday 10 July at Parco San Valentino with extraordinary artists from all over the world for exclusive live performances, such as that of Alice Cooper, the only date in Italy; from 21 June to 21 July the city center will be tinged with blues, with many collateral events, exhibitions, the famous “blues on the road” and much more.

The boutique festival, the flagship of the musical panorama in Europe, will once again feature the Parco San Valentino stage, now a historic location of the festival, which is dressed in blues and becomes a meeting place for people from all over the world. world: it is the VALENTINE’S DAY LIVE PARK, where great music, good food, the fun of international live shows are the ingredients of unforgettable evenings.

The city is also tinged with blues with the events that enliven the city centre, collateral events scheduled from 21 June to 21 July. A month in which you will breathe art in the streets of Pordenone, with “Music of the eyes” (organized by the Copertine come Quadri Association -APS) at the Civic Library in Piazza XX Settembre, the exhibition of covers designed to represent the evolution of graphics and materials used in the creation of protective vinyl and CD cases through a route dictated by the genres of painting, whose inauguration is scheduled for July 21st at 6:00 pm; and again from June 28th to July 21st “Danny says: Danny Fields’ Ramones” at PAFF! International Museum of Comic Art at Villa Galvani (Parco Galvani, Viale Dante, 33), the personal exhibition of Danny Fields, one of the puppeteers of the American music industry between the 60s and 80s, which will be inaugurated on June 28th at 6.30pm.

Furthermore, the same location will host “Walter Bortolossi for Blues Festival”: the Udine artist Walter Bortolossi returns to exhibit in Pordenone, after the anthology he held at the Bertoia gallery between 2017 and 2018, with a new solo exhibition dedicated to the world of music. His painting, composite and complex, addresses the most varied themes, addressing current events but also history. Always the PAFF! International Museum of Comic will be the residence of “The unobtainable ones”, an extraordinary exhibition (free entry) of rare records and autographs by music legends who have left an indelible mark on history.
