Establish a Department of Transparency and Legality that also deals with assets confiscated from the Camorra. This is the proposal of mayoral candidate Antonio Farinaro, in the Aversa municipal elections. “Legality is an essential value and must not only be preached, but practiced with real and concrete actions. For this reason I accepted the proposal of some members of the coalition to be able to create a department that deals with Transparency, Legality and assets confiscated from organized crime”, explains Farinaro. And he adds: “This choice is necessary to strengthen the safeguards of legality, transparency and administrative correctness, making it a qualifying element of the political action of all political and civil forces. The Municipality – observes the mayoral candidate – must be a glass house for everyone. Citizens need to know what happens in the halls of government. The primary objective is to promote virtuous practices that allow the recovery of citizens’ trust in politics and the widest democratic participation, as well as forms of control and supervision over the concrete work of government bodies and administrators of public affairs. Aversa – concludes Farinaro – belongs to all those who live in the city and love it. We must do well and not allow anyone to dirty the image of our community with any illegal conduct or in any case suitable to discredit the institutions”.
