ALESSANDRIA – An afternoon of art. Last Saturday the Alexandrian suburb of Valmadonna it was colored with yellow on the occasion of the initiative Books & Art in the Valleypromoted by Valley Committee. “Paintings, clothes, sculptures, handcrafted products and music were curated by the Guidarlab school” he underlined Mara Verzetti, one of the organizers “the event opened with the inauguration of the mural, in the presence of the mayor of Alessandria Giorgio Abonante. The children who made it participated in large numbers to take credit for their work together with their teachers. Art and photography competitions linked to the mural have been launched. During the afternoon there were artistic moments where painters got involved in front of passers-by. Inside the school courtyard you could listen to the music of the young kids, taste craft beer, buy honey, take photographs in the dark, draw on a canvas and admire photographs of our landscape”.
On this occasion, the photography competition “Capture your essence“: until September 15th it will be possible to take images in the interactive frames in the pedestrian underpass. You will then need to post them on social media with the hashtag #civuoleunfiorevalmadonna. The author of the photo with the most “likes” will receive a voucher to spend at the lei bistro café bar, near the mural.
