In Siena, some changes to the road system within the historic center are planned which will lead to temporary changes to the routes of the urban lines of Autolinee Toscane.
Pope’s Logge area
From 10.30am to 5pm on Monday 17th, Tuesday 18th and Thursday 19th June 2024, transit in Via Logge del Papa – Via di S. Martino will be prohibited.
Changes to the s52 line: trips in the direction of Logge del Papa will have a regular route up to via dei Pispini, then they will have to make a detour to Vicolo del Sasso – via di Salicotto – piazza del Mercato (terminus). The trips towards Zona Agroalimentare, from Piazza del Mercato, Via del Sole will continue to Via dell’Oliviera and then resume the regular route. The stops with code SI2379 and SI2380 will be cancelled.
Via Salicotto
Also from Monday 17 June to Friday 21 June, in the time slot from 9am to 5pm, Via di Salicotto will be closed to vehicular traffic in the road section between the intersections with Vicolo del Contradino and Via dei Malcontenti. The direct lines S26, S27 and S51 at Piazza del Mercato, once they reach the beginning of via di Salicotto they will take a detour into Vicolo del Contradino and then resume their regular route.
