Quartu The news is that all the nightclubs in the Quartu coastal strip checked are in compliance in all respects. This was ascertained last night by the carabinieri of the mobile radio operations unit of the Quartu Company and of the dependent stations of Sinnai, Maracalagonis and Sestu, with the contribution of the specialists of the Nas of Cagliari, during a coordinated service aimed at controlling the nightlife and to the fight against hygienic-sanitary violations in the nightclubs of the Quartese coast, which continued from Saturday evening to 3am today, Sunday 16 June. During the service, directed by Major Michele Cerri, commander of the Company, an ethnic market and some bars and restaurants located on the coast and a destination for the local nightlife were checked. All businesses were found to comply with current health and hygiene regulations, and no violations have been found at the moment. During the evening the police carried out several checkpoints checking numerous vehicles and individuals present in the area. Among these, the military also verified the situation of 21 subjects subjected to various alternative regimes to detention. During the operations, a 17-year-old young man, resident in Elmas, was reported to the Prefecture of Cagliari as a drug user. Following a personal search, he was found in possession of a dose of kief. The Carabinieri will continue in the future, the Company Command announces, to carefully monitor the nightlife areas, with particular attention to nightclubs and the areas of greatest tourist influx, intensifying checks on the main roads to prevent and combat any driving behavior that may endanger road users, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
