A drunken fight ended in blood. The incident occurred at dawn on Sunday 16 June in the Piazza Bologna area and the one who paid the price was a 43-year-old man, a Romanian citizen, admitted to the Umberto I emergency room under yellow code.

Stabbed three times in Piazza Bologna

In four days there were four stabbings in Rome. The victim, in this case, was a 43-year-old of Romanian origins.

Drunk argument

According to what was reconstructed by the state police, there was a heated argument between two people in a clear state of alcohol impairment. A passerby who reported having witnessed an altercation alerted a police car from the Porta Pia police station around 3 in the morning. At the height of the argument, the victim ended up on the ground and was hit three times in the back by his rival, most likely with an edged weapon. The 43-year-old was rescued by the 118 health workers and taken to the emergency room of the Policlinico Umberto I under yellow code. His life is not in danger.

Attacker on the run

The investigators of the Viminale police station have taken charge of the investigations, with the aim of understanding in detail the dynamics of the stabbing and are collecting useful elements for the identification of the attacker, who is currently on the run.
