Motoring/ Tony Cobucci signs the first slalom in Pettoranello del Molise

The driver from Campobasso Tony Cobucci on Radical Pro Sport is the winner of the first Pettoranello del Molise slalom organized by Aci Molise in collaboration with the Molise Sport company and with the support of the municipal administration. Behind him Andrea Vassalotti (Fiat 126 Suzuki) and Raffaele Prisco (Fiat Cinquecento). It was a successful event in all respects with twenty-four pilots who showed up at the starting line and put on a show along the 2 kilometers and 830 meters of the beautiful route planned by the organizers. An event that has attracted the attention of enthusiasts and athletes and is destined to grow over time.

In the reconnaissance climb (the time of which is not considered for the ranking) the fastest is Donato Catano on A112 with a time of 2’32”51. Behind him Andrea Vassalotti on Fiat 126 Suzuki (2’35″96), Giovanni Piccolo (Fiat 600 Suzuki in 2’37″05) placed third. In the first official climb of the race the fastest is Donatantonio Cobucci (Radical Prosport) who he stops the clock at 2’31″15. Behind him, Vassalotti is 1″33 behind and Raffaele Prisco (Fiat 500) with a time of 2’37″21 is forced to deal with a 10″ penalty. and he had to settle for partial eighth place. The second climb still smiled on Cobucci who covered the distance in 2’31”47, behind him Prisco and Piccolo separated by 4”52 and 5”32 respectively.

In the general Cobucci precedes Vassalotti (1″33) and Prisco (4″84). The last time section sees the race leader set the best time again with 2’29”83. Franco Serago took the second step of the podium (2’36”08), Piccolo placed third in 2’36”58. Cobucci celebrates the victory and projects himself into the Città di Campobasso slalom in the best possible way. “I’m happy to have won the first edition of this beautiful race – he says upon arrival – on a technical and slippery route in some sections it wasn’t easy to be able to go fast. It was a beautiful day of sport, we hope in the coming years to have a greater number of competitors at the start because this race deserves it”.
