The parents of their daughter’s ex-boyfriend informed the parents of the 16-year-old. Once she returned from the club she sent him a message: “I think they raped me.” So the man immediately went to the young woman’s room:
I picked her up. I told her not to worry, it wasn’t her fault. I asked her – says the mother – if she had hurt her. She showed me some marks on the thighs. Then I told her to come into the bed with me. The next morning we go in emergency room. At first she didn’t want to come in out of shame.”
The details of the alleged rape they then arrived from the hospital report; so too is the name of the boy, who had recently come of age.
He is friends with the new group of friends. She didn’t even have her phone number: she got it from who knows who and he sent her a message when she was at the gynecologist. ‘I didn’t realize you didn’t want it otherwise I would have stopped.’ In reality – add the parents – she had been clear in telling him that he did not want to and that he felt pain.
