The Summer Edition 24 of the Sant’Eraclio children’s carnival
The Summer Edition 24 of the Sant’Eraclio children’s carnival is ready to heat up the summer from 26 June to 7 July. This festival, which takes place in Foligno, is one of the most anticipated events of the year, thanks to its rich offer of entertainment, culture and gastronomy.
Less than ten days before the start of the event, the organizational staff, led by president Fabio Bonifazi and vice-president Valentina Tosti, has developed a rich and varied program that promises to satisfy the public’s expectations.
The centerpiece of the Summer Edition will be the spectacular night parade of gigantic illuminated papier-mâché creations, scheduled for July 7th. But there will be no shortage of other attractions: the Umbrian gastronomic tradition will be represented by the Osteria del Carnivale, open every evening from 26 June to 7 July, where it will be possible to taste typical dishes of the region.
Music will have a central role, with a variety of genres ranging from rock to pop, from dance to country. Numerous cover bands will perform from the Largo Garibaldi stage, including DeeRadio, Zona Ruvida Band, 128 Special Band and Western Country Band. There will be no shortage of tributes to the greats of music, with performances by “Pulse”, who will re-propose Pink Floyd songs, and “A Night at the Opera”, dedicated to Queen.
Among the most anticipated events, “La Corrida di Sant’Eraclio”, scheduled for July 1st, will give amateur artists the opportunity to get involved, while “Karaoke with Pamela” and “Lando and Dino Cabaret” promise evenings at ‘sign of fun.
