From 14 June to 17 July it will be possible to taste special menus based on local products at numerous restaurants in Varese.
VARESE – There are 27 Varese activities involved in the “Itineraries of taste” exhibition, promoted by the Municipality of Varese and the Urban Commerce District of Varese. From Sacro Monte to Calcinate del Pesce, dozens of bars and restaurants have joined this event, which promotes our local products and culinary excellence.
“A journey that involves many restaurants, bars, pastry shops, delicatessens and city venues – explains Ivana Perusin, Deputy Mayor of Varese with delegation to trade – to raise awareness of the products and gastronomic traditions of the area, enhancing the many businesses that have joined the initiative with enthusiasm and creativity, an expression of the entrepreneurial vitality and dynamism of Varese. An event made possible thanks to essential networking which actively involves local associations and entities, and which is aimed at both Varese residents and tourists, further enriching the offer of summer events, for an increasingly attractive city”.
Present at the presentation press conference held last Thursday were Antonio Besacchi, president of Confcommercio Ascom Varese, Roberto Tanzi, director of Confcommercio Ascom Varese, Fabio Zanetti of Slow Food, who underlined the presence of many local zero kilometer products, and Rosita De Fino, territorial director of Confesercenti.
