In the three municipalities of Padua al ballot (Selvazzano, Monselice and Rubano), only in Rubano was a relationship made official. That between the centre-right candidate Luigi Sposato (39.3% of votes in the first round) and the civic of Francesca Dall’Aglio (13%) who, if successful, will be assigned the role of deputy mayor.

The objective of this agreement is to beat the center-left candidate Chiara Buson (47.7%) who failed to become mayor in the first round by just over 2 percentage points.
In the other two municipalities, at 1pm on Sunday 16 June, the deadline for presenting alliances at the town hall, after exhausting negotiations no alliance was reached but only voting indications and some backroom agreements.
This means that the composition of the municipal councils after the vote on 23 and 24 June 2024 will be the one, whether one side prevails or the other, which comes out of the polls on 8 and 9 June.

TO Selvazzanoit’s news right now, the candidate of “Noi per Selvazzano” Marco Destro (1,174 votes, 10.4%) communicates with a note that he supports Mariano Fuschi in the run-off, centre-right candidate (3,933 votes, 35%). But it’s not about similarity.
«We support him not because we are right or left, but because Mariano Fuschi is a man from the area, who truly lives in Selvazzano, with great and proven administrative skills and experience», declares the civic Destro.
In the center-right the outbreak erupted on Saturday Zoppello case. The secretary of the local League club, which supported the former mayor Giovanna Rossi in the first round, declared that he will vote for the centre-left candidate Claudio Piron in the run-off (3,654 votes 32.5%).
