The main concerts of the “Vittadini Jazz Festival” are arriving: from 20 to 23 June the most awaited music festival in the cultural panorama of the city of Pavia will come to life. The event is organized by the Jazz Department “New Technologies and Musical Languages” of the Franco Vittadini Conservatory of Music in Pavia, with the patronage of the Lombardy Region, the Municipality of Pavia and with the contribution of the Cariplo Foundation. After the evenings with the preview concerts performed at the Caffè Teatro, the Circolo Vogatori Pavia and the Casa Mirabello, the four main concerts will take place in the Cloister of the Franco Vittadini Conservatory on the evenings of 20, 21, 22 and 23 June at 9pm.

The first evening, Thursday 20 June, will feature the Jazz Department of the Narbonne Conservatory and the Franco Vittadini Conservatory of Music of Pavia. The evening includes the creation of a film concert dedicated to Buster Keaton, American actor, director and screenwriter, known as one of the most important masters of the classic silent film period. The artistic project will be created with music by Bruno Reigner thanks to the direction and arrangements of Vincent Boisseau of the Narbonne Conservatory of Music.

On Friday 21 June the two Conservatories will return to the stage of the Vittadini Cloister. The evening will be opened by the students of the Liceo Musicale Adelaide Cairoli of Pavia. The ItalOccitanie Orchestra will then be the protagonist, composed largely of the septet of French teachers from the Narbonne Conservatory and three teachers from the Pavia Conservatory: Francesca Ajmar, Étienne Lecomte, Alexandre Auge, Vincent Boisseau, Guillaume Gardey De Soos, Beppe Caruso , Simone Daclon, Maria Levrero, Joan Eche-Puig, Giorgio Di Tullio.

On Saturday 22 June we will continue with the performance of the Vittadini Saxophone Quartet. To close the Jazz festival, on Sunday 23 June, it will be the turn of the Jazz PianoTrio composed of Niccolò Cattaneo, Roberto Piccolo and Matteo Rebulla who will perform together with the Vittadini Jazz Ensemble, composed of Luca Segala, Simone Daclon, Riccardo Bianchi, Claudia Zannoni, Marco Ricci and Giorgio Di Tullio.
