Di Filippo and his Moscato at the G7 give value to Trani

Franco di Filippo’s “Estasi” Moscato di Trani entered the lunch menu in honor of the heads of state and government and the other personalities participating in the G7 which concluded yesterday in Borgo Egnazia. In particular, our wine appears on the menu of the convivial event at the Brindisi Castle on 13 June.

Trani Moscato closed a trio of wines also made up of Fiano from Tenuta Bocca di Lupo and Furia di Calafuria from Masseria Maime. Camillo Langone, in Il Foglio, defined it as “the only moment of pure Puglia in a banal banquet”.

A fair recognition for a typical product of our land which, despite the fact that it has been difficult to promote in the city for some time, maintains its charm and attractiveness to the point of having been successfully proposed to the great people of the world gathered in Puglia.

«Persevering in policies for the promotion of typical local products, and in particular focusing attention on a unique product such as Moscato di Trani, is one of the objectives to be pursued – underlines the majority municipal councilor Antonio Befano – which in Trani was the only one to propose events promoting typical local wine in recent years. Our thanks go to Franco di Filippo and all the producers of Moscato di Trani, who with love continue to give life to this nectar for not abandoning this unique experience.”
