An appeal has been launched in Bologna to find a 15-year-old girl, Evelina Neamtu, who disappeared yesterday. The girl lives with her family in the Pilastro area, but her parents have not heard from her since the morning of Friday 14 June, and have filed a report with the police. They also turned to the lawyer Barbara Iannuccelli of the Penelope Association. On her social networks, together with her photo, an appeal was spread to find her: anyone who may have information can contact the police.
The father: “She had recently met a boy”
“We don’t believe it’s a voluntary removal,” the girl’s father told Corriere di Bologna, also launching a social appeal inviting anyone who may have seen her to contact the police. “Since finishing school Evelina has met a boy here from the Pillar,” the man added. “Some friends of this guy they say they heard him talk about “taking a girl to Rimini”. The family emphasizes that Evelina “is not a girl who goes out alone very often.” Meanwhile, sharing of the parents’ appeal is growing on social media.
