It is the day of Turin Pride 2024. The rainbow tide that floods the city every year left at 4.53pm from Corso Principe Eugenio and will arrive around 8pm in Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The procession will follow the following route: Corso Principe Eugenio, Corso Beccaria, Piazza Statuto, Corso San Martino, Piazza XVIII Dicembre, Via Cernaia, Via Pietro Micca, Piazza Castello, Viale Primo Maggio, Viale Partigiani, Corso San Maurizio (central carriageway), along Po Cadorna, Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In the front row behind the banner the mayor Stefano Lo Russo with the tricolor sash and numerous personalities from the world of politics and entertainment including the godmother Vladimir Luxuria.
Changes to the road network and route changes for 36 GTT lines
“The rights that are not for everyone have another name: they are called privileges – is the battle cry of the Turin Pride coordinator Luca Minici – As we wrote on our manifesto, we are people who love and people who fight”. Maximum freedom on the street: “We will use all the forms that belong to us – is the promise – uncomfortable, joyful, noisy, fabulous and scandalous. We will shout loudly to be heard by every person and by institutions at every level, because this is Pride: a great act of affirmation, love and struggle”.
Mayor Stefano Lo Russo: “A party for rights”

“I believe that what has come from the European elections is a very bad signal, a Europe that is turning very intensely to the right – adds Lo Russo – and this forces all of us to be even more present and attentive and to continue to reiterate that the cat that there are equal rights for everyone is a sign of civilization and progress.” Even for the councilor for Rights, Jacopo Rosatelli, “the role of progressive cities like Turin is even more relevant at a time when the reactionary wind is rising in other areas of Italy and Europe. The evening’s program
The super guest on the stage in Piazza Vittorio is Michele Bravi, winner of it will start at 8.30pm and will continue all night. The party takes place in the courtyards of the Switchboard and continues in the internal spaces of the venue. During the route and at the evening party at the Switchboard there will also be “sensory relief” points (quiet decompression areas), distribution of earplugs and accessible toilets. There are also discounts on tickets for those accompanying a person in need of assistance. In the arrival area of the parade there will be an area dedicated to rapid testing for HIV and syphilis with dedicated healthcare personnel and there will be the distribution of information and prophylactic materials.
