2 DASPO of the Police Commissioner – Ancona Police Headquarters

The Police Commissioner of Ancona, Dr. Cesare Capocasa, as part of the activities aimed at preventing violence during sporting events, signed – pursuant to art. 6 Law n. 401 of 13 December 1989 and subsequent amendments – the provisions prohibiting access to places in the national territory, where all football sporting events of any category are held, organized by sports federations and by bodies and organizations recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee, including the national football team.
THE DASPO were ordered against two fans of the Trodica football team, held responsible for serious disruption to public order and safety. In fact, the two men, aged 42 and 25, last May, at the “Mancini” municipal stadium in Castelfidardo, on the occasion of the football match between the “Vigor Castelfidardo” and “Trodica” teams, valid as a semi-final play- off of the Promotion category football championship, during the filtering operations they were found in possession of fireworks. The boy was found in possession of a pyrotechnic device called a “hand torch” and a package containing 3 “white smoke bombs”, while the other subject was found in possession of a “hand torch”. Reason why they were referred to the Judicial Authority for the violation of Law n.401/89 which regulates access to sporting events. Following the provisions of the Police Commissioner, the two fans will not be able to access the places where sporting events take place for a period of one year. Please remember that the violation is punished with imprisonment from one to three years and a fine from 10,000 euros up to 40,000 euros.
