Crackdown on theft and drug dealing in the city. In this sense yesterday evening (14 June) the police carried out an extraordinary control service.
In particular, the area of the railway station where they were identified was checked ten non-EU foreign citizens, one of whom is irregular. The latter, after having thrown somehashishtried to escape from the underpass that leads to via Nottolini, but was quickly killed blocked by personnel already stationed.
The service continued inside Porta San Pietro where they were checked 12 young people one of which one reported by drug dog who had smelled the presence of a narcotic substance on his person. The young man, evidently discovered by the dog, he pulled out his underwear from inside around 50 grams of hashish, ready for dealing, which is why he was reported.
The service continued on San Colombano bastion where, in a dark area, a group of young people who were stationed there were checked, without finding any anomalies.
Finally, we proceeded to control of a bar in the immediate suburbs of the city where some people already known to the police were identified inside. In the same place the drug dog smelled the narcotic substance along the hedge that runs alongside the tables. She was thus found and kidnapped cocaine equal to approximately 8 grams divided into 5 doses.
During the service, 50 people were identified.
