Everything is ready for the new edition of the “Lecce Sup Race” organized by the Asd Marina di San Cataldo chaired by Maurizio Chiesa. Over one hundred members, including agonists and beginners, will meet this morning at the “Lido York” bathing establishment in San Cataldo, as part of the event valid as the third stage of the Italian Fissw Sup Race and Paddleboard Championship. The Technical Race will begin at 3pm, while tomorrow morning the Distance Race Para Sup reserved for under 12-14s will take place (9.30am) and the Distance Race Agonisti dedicated to under 16s and higher categories (10.30am). During the national event, the regional selection for the Coni Trophy reserved for athletes born between 2010 and 2014 will take place. “San Cataldo and the bay of Molo Adriano – explains the president of the organizing association, Maurizio Chiesa – lends itself to host SUP competitions because it is protected in many weather conditions. This is an area that allows the race to take place in pleasant conditions even on the ground, both for spectators and athletes.
