Seventeen excellent names have ended up in the sights of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Auditors, as part of an investigation, conducted by the financiers of the Economic-Financial Police Unit of Naples, into alleged irregularities in the economic treatments of the administrative coordinators of the council groups and the secretarial managers of the council commissions.
According to the reconstruction of the magistrates and the Fiamme Gialle, it would be a treasury damage of 3.7 million euros: through resolutions adopted between 2019 and 2021, the apical bodies of the regional council would have continued to provide the coordinators and managers of secretariat an illicit ancillary economic treatment, equivalent to that of management, despite a sentence of the Constitutional Court having already declared the unconstitutionality of this donation.
Among those who were invited to deduce, the names of the current President of the Campania Regional Council Gennaro Oliviero and the former President Rosa D’Amelio stand out, as well as those of Vincenzo Maraio, now national secretary of the Italian Socialist Party, and Tommaso Casillo , President of Soresa Spa, the Region’s purchasing center for healthcare spending.
