on June 19th the “Basketball run” benefiting Admo

From the mind of the “Basketball Stars Camp” by Richard Lelli and Simone Pierich together with the “Marghe All Star” collective, organizers of the famous charity tournament named after the late Matteo Margheritini, a new event is born for the Forlì summer, an event that tastes so much like basketball but which flows into the world of running. The first Basketball Run starts on Wednesday 19 June, a “dribbled” race through the streets of the city centre, starting from Piazza Cavour and passing through the key points of the city centre, returning to where you started for a total of around 5 km.

Three stations

There are three stations planned, in the San Domenico park in front of “L’Amorosina”, Piazza Morgagni next to the “Jump Cafè” and in via Oberdan at “La Fiasca”, stations in which the participants will engage in skill tests with the support of the Marghe-Stars Camp staff.

Upon arrival, also expected in Piazza Cavour, some partners of the event, such as Falterona Gin and Panifico, will welcome the participants in front of the “La Sosta” restaurant, together with the music of the Balera.

The start is at 7.30pm

It starts at 7.30pm, it will be possible to register starting from 6.30pm directly in Piazza Cavour, there is a registration fee which will give you the exclusive t-shirt of the event and for a surcharge also the basketball. The entire proceeds will be donated to ADMO Forli’-Cesena (Bone Marrow Donors Association).

The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Forlì and is part of the “Forli’ nel cuore” initiatives which, as usual, enliven the Wednesdays of the Forlì summer. For info and registration [email protected]
