A piece of Corato was the protagonist at the inaugural dinner of the G7 at the Castello Svevo in Brindisi, thanks to the Fiore di Puglia taralli. Among the typical Apulian dishes, world leaders have tasted this artisanal specialty, representative of the local tradition.

The dinner, with a light menu rich in Apulian flavours, included four courses, including appetizers and main courses that highlighted the regional excellences. The taralli, packaged in 35 gram sachets, were the basis of gifts to the delegations, as well as being used as an aperitif.

Giuseppe Fiore, owner of the company, declared: «We are extremely proud to see our taralli represent our land in an event of such importance. This recognition is the fruit of years of work and dedication to quality.” He added: «Our mission has always been to bring the true flavor of Puglia to the world, and this occasion has given us the opportunity to do so on an unprecedented scale».

Fiore also commented: «We were not allowed to take photos, but we will carry this meeting in our hearts».

This initiative represented a unique opportunity to promote Corato’s gastronomic traditions on the international scene, highlighting the quality and culinary culture of the region. The Fiore di Puglia taralli thus brought an authentic flavor of the Apulian land directly to the tables of the G7, demonstrating the importance of small local productions in events of global importance.
