It is not yet time for a single society in Velletri. After the press conference by the VJScomes the official response from SPQV which, if it does not exclude any future scenario, at least postpones it.
For a few years now, there have been several attempts on my part to unite the football projects of the two Veliterno clubs into a single common project. This year it seemed that we had finally succeeded, so much so that we were one step away from realizing the dream The two directors of VJS and SPQV sat around a table to find an agreement and form a single company. The road immediately seemed uphill due to some conditions posed by VJS Velletri, but for the good of the project we were also willing to accept them, provided that we too could set our own condition, that is, that the unification of the activities was equal, putting highlighting our work carried out with competence and passion in recent years. Subsequently, during a press conference held by VJS Velletri, but not shared by SPQV, a different agreement was presented from the one we had worked on for a long time, that is, a project of football inclusion born from the will of the two directors under the name of VJS Velletri, to carry forward a unique football reality in the territory in an equal and egalitarian way. However, it was wrongly communicated that Tetti Andrea and Pallante Damiano would join the VJS Velletri project, abandoning the SPQV project. This unilateral conference of the VJS was in itself a very serious fact, for which the President Stefano Di Crescenzo, an exceptional person, correctly and promptly apologised. However, this has brought to light a practical issue that has frozen the negotiating table for this year: the Veliterno football environment is not ready, perhaps the time is not yet ripe. We will try in the future, for the good of the city, to sit around a table again. Who knows, maybe it will be the right time.
