The “Blue Line” journey continues in the Marche region, traveling along the “tamed sea”: from Pesaro to Fano. Saturday 15 June, at 2.00 pm on Rai 1, with Donatella Bianchi and Fabio Gallo, we go off the coast of Fano, on board a small fishing boat, to recover the gugulli, the traps for fishing cuttlefish, a fundamental ingredient for preparation of the broth. Off the coast of Pesaro, on board the Astrea ship, the ISPRA MER project begins – 37 lines of activity, an investment of 400 million euros, the acquisition of a new large and modern naval unit – to restore the seas Italians and recover the oyster beds of the Adriatic.
And again, clam fishing, the meticulous choice of fish at the market: in Fano, with prof. Piccinetti, “historical friend” of Linea Blu, precious advice for the preparation of an exceptional broth.
Miocene rocks containing fossils of fish, plants, insects and rare remains of mammals and birds: in the heart of the Monte San Bartolo regional natural park, sailing along the coast, discovering an extraordinary cliff of fossils and the rich biodiversity of this jewel naturalistic that extends for just 12 kilometers between Gabicce and Pesaro.
Over a ton of fish cooked for the creation of 2500 portions of delicious broth: in Fano, browsing among the stands of the event, it is a great celebration to celebrate a poor dish prepared by fishermen directly on the boats.
The sea as a tool of education: off the coast of Pesaro, with the children of the Guglielmo Marconi high school, the “Sailing among the Banks” project aims to promote and create an educational training course to introduce young people to this sporting practice.
Tasty “variations” based on blue crab: in Fano, with the fishermen who are cooking the broth, strategies and projects for the management of this alien species which is causing enormous damage to the fishing economy.
A unique theater in the world for deeply listening to ecosystems: in the headquarters of the Civic Museums of Pesaro, the magic of Sonosfera, an artistic installation for a 360-degree immersion in the landscapes of the equatorial primary forests of the Amazon and Borneo. And finally in Fano, with the solemn rite of the pan, the investiture of Donatella Bianchi as sister of the historic Confraternita del Brodetto which, this year, turns twenty.
