Data on the quality of life in Sassari.
Sassari I don’t like it anymore to its inhabitants, who perceive that the quality of life has worsened in recent years. The report reveals it”Quality of life in European cities”, conducted by the European Commission with Istat.
If Cagliari is one of the city of Italy with the greatest degree of satisfaction, the same cannot be said for the second largest city in Sardinia. The degree of satisfaction of the people of Sassari with their city in 2024 fell to 81% versus 90% of Cagliari. But why is Sassari no longer appreciated as it once was? The report analyzed several factors, which contribute to the discontent towards the city.
One of the points that the people of Sassari like them less are the issue of healthcare and the transport situation in the city. But this is a point that it has in common with Cagliari, where however the inhabitants are satisfied with the green areas, of which Sassari it is lacking. Furthermore, only 43% of Sassari residents they are not afraid of wandering around at night alone, while 50% of residents believe that there is corruption in the city. Sassari is instead rewarded for its air quality, where the 89.5% of residents consider their city clean.
