At 4pm today, Saturday 15 June, the exhibition “The path of the Goddess, solo show by Patrizia Gozzellino.
Originally from Milan but adopted from AstiGozzellino presents around twenty pictorial works that celebrate nature in its complete cycle of birth, death and rebirth, taking inspiration from ancient cults that venerated the Goddess as a symbol of fertility and harvest.
“The Goddess represents the different phases of female life: girl, lover, mother, woman and old woman – explains the artist – Through shamanic journeys, readings and meditation experiences, I have explored the magic of this ancient world and I wanted to tell it with my art.”
The works, created with illustration and acrylic on canvas techniques, portray equinoxes, solstices and celebrations such as Beltane (the festival of love) and Imbolc (the festival of rebirth), with bright colors that follow the cycle of the seasons of nature and life. “I used these shades to communicate the joy and hope that the Mother Goddess transmits”, Gozzellino states again.
Passionate about Celtic culture and intrigued by ancient rites and celebrations that paid homage to nature, the artist has already exhibited in Asti and Turinreceiving the “Vette d’arte” award for painting and poetry.
