Rimini, 15 June 2024 – It all happened at once cigarette. For a stupid reason, which at 5pm on Friday led to aheated discussion and then toassault complete with a detached ear between a 27 year old Romanian and his rival. Like Iron Mike in the ring, according to reconstructions the 27-year-old’s fury would have been unleashed precisely while he was atRimini hospital where the man was waiting. In fact, it is precisely in the hospital that the Evander Holyfield of this story (the victim of the attack whose ear was removed) was locatedaccording to him, waiting for an intervention when, while he was going to the bar to have a coffee, he was approached by the 27-year-old to get a cigarette. It was therefore due to the man’s denial that the 27-year-old flew into a rage and began to attack him with punches, headbutts and even biting the victim’s ear with his teethto the point of being able to detach part of his auricle.
The security guards on duty at the hospital raised the alarm and immediately alerted the police who rushed to the scene with a squad of police officers who, upon arrival, found the bloody attack victim outside the structure. When the officers arrived, the 27-year-old attempted to escape, before being immediately stopped by a new police car that arrived and transferred to the police station on the orders of the judicial authorities. The 27-year-old was therefore arrested for the charge of distorting the appearance of the person through permanent facial injuries and is now in prison awaiting the validation hearing.
