Six important training events closed yesterday, for this spring, with an afternoon dedicated to the recovery and recycling of fabrics with attention to design and sound absorption. It is the calendar created by the Order of Architects PPC BAT with which the aim is to create, thanks to the fundamental contribution of private partners, a constant training update for the professionals of the sixth province of Puglia.
«Since we took office last year we have undertaken this path – explained the architect. Andrea Roselli President of the BAT Order – the aim is to give our members the opportunity to obtain training credits for free through these events and above all thanks to the partners. I believe that in Italy almost all professional associations create training events but almost all of them are paid. So we think it’s a welcome thing for our members to whom we give the opportunity free of charge to constantly train in the profession.”
The last of a series of events on the house of the future held in Andria and interspersed with events in Bisceglie and at Palazzo Covelli in Trani where the architect was also a guest. Francesca Singer, partner of the Japanese architecture and design studio SANAA, already awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2010.
«Since the beginning of the year we have given a lot of space to events both of a practical nature, therefore more linked to the actual working environment of the professional, and also through the lectio magistralis of important architects – explained Andrea Roselli – We always try to combine the two things. Having this broad scope of architecture also dreamed of by all of us professionals with the comparison with the great architects, and then above all also giving the possibility of training with the more practical part and with interventions and events closely linked to the work of architects” .
Among the various activities carried out in this period also the great participation in the BAT for the initiative of the National Council of Architects entitled “Open! Open Studies”. About ten events in the sixth province with the opening of architectural studios to the public to bring an essential profession for the development of cities and territories as close as possible to citizens.
