At the auction of the land of the Bergamo hospital, received as an inheritance. There are 26 lots, including buildings and land, in the new real estate auction announced by the Asst Papa Giovanni XXIII and which concerns assets deriving from bequests, including some in Cisano and Terno d’Isola.

The complete list of goods with the relative auction prices and the ways to participate are published on the Asst Pope John XXIII website. Seven lots, including building and agricultural land, are up for auction in Oggiono, in the province of Lecco.
Among the most valuable assets in Bergamo there is a four-room apartment in the Cividini passage with a splendid view of the upper city, including garage and cellar (€349,729 starting price). Always in the city there are a tolarge four-room apartment in via Pascoli, with garage and two cellars (starting price €216,000), an office in via Sant’Orsola (€115,000) and a three-room apartment in via Nino Bixio with garage and attic, in the Loreto district (€124,400 ). In Almenno San Bartolomeo (BG) there is an apartment in the “Il Querceto del Golf” residential complex, a residence surrounded by greenery near the Bergamo “L’Albenza” Golf Club, with concierge services, swimming pool and sports fields.
In the province of Bergamo, other properties for which it is possible to submit an offer are found in Cisano (four-room apartment with cellar with starting price at €84,200), Terno d’Isola (large three-room apartment with garden, garage and cellar, €145,365 ), Dalmine, Calcinate and San Giovanni Bianco. In Levate there is building land. Also up for auction is a villa in Credaro, half an hour’s walk from Lake Iseo and a few steps from the Oglio river and a small portion of woods in Bagnatica.
The proceeds from the public auction will be used according to the provisions of the deceased benefactors during their lifetime. By contacting their trusted notary, several people every year express the desire, through a bequest, to nominate Pope John as heir.
“In order to respect the last wish of some of our benefactors to financially support the work of our doctors and nurses, we have put up for auction the real estate assets that were donated to us – he explained Gianluca Vecchi, administrative director of the Asst Pope John XXIII –. The proceeds will be used according to their precise wishes. There are those who have chosen to donate their assets, movable and immovable generally to the hospital, while others have preferred to indicate a specific department as the beneficiary”.
