“The day – he reiterates – represents an opportunity to reiterate the importance of donation, not only of whole blood but also of plasma which allows us to save the lives of many sick people. It is also worth underlining the fundamental role played by voluntary associations which contribute decisively to the achievement of results thanks to collaboration and synergy with transfusion structures”.

“I also want to extend an invitation to everyone – he concludes – especially young people to become donors: there is always a need for blood and plasma. The donation helps make a difference in the lives of many people.”
